If you register an account with PKR Poker and deposit using the PKR bonus code “FIRST800“, a first deposit bonus is offered by PKR Poker of a 100% match on your first deposit up to $800.00.
The deposit is released in increments of $10.00, subject to you earning PKR Poker Points (at a rate of 225 per $1.00) and you have 60 days in which to achieve the full requirement of 180.000 points if going for the maximum.

Earning PKR Poker Points

In cash ring games, PKR Points are also awarded at the rate of 100 points for each $1.00 contributed to the pot, but on your personal contribution only. For example:-
In a four-handed cash game with a $50 pot raked at $2.50, a player who bet a total of $9 would receive 45 points (reflecting the 18% of the pot they contributed). The rake in each game is capped at $3.00, so you would never be able to take more than your share of 300 PKR Points out of a hand.

Best Way to Clear Your PKR Bonus
To tournament players, the requirements for earning enough PKR Points to clear your full $800.00 first depositor bonus are quite clear. Using standard bankroll management, you would be aiming to play in tournaments with a $40.00 + $4.00 buy-in (1/20th of your bankroll) and generate 400 PKR Points with each game.
However, this would mean asking you to participate in 450 tournaments within 60 days (a BIG ask), and there are not even that many tournaments with that value of buy-in to enable you to do it. Potentially, you could buy-in to the $100.000 Gtd “Masters” tournaments for $250.00 + $20.00, and make up the rest with the handful of $30.00 + $3.00 tournaments that take place throughout the week. You should be able to get involved on tables with a $2.00/$4.00 stake level that see around 60 “rakeable” hands an hour and generate the maximum $3.00 rake.
